We don’t usually get a whole lot of calls from glass manufacturers however this project was unique in just about every way. This customer was a glass manufacturer out of California. They make a very unique kind of glass that gets hooked up to a mini modulator. The glass can tint itself depending on the exposure and settings.
The manufacturer was sending the glass to Las Vegas for a very big project. During the manufacturing and shipping process, it got damaged. There were rub lines on the glass. Sometimes this happens during transport and sometimes it can happen on the rollers during production. Needless to say, we repaired over 40 panes of glass that didn’t have to get remanufactured.
This project saved our customers over $100,000.
